The story so far
In the town of Hometown, the human Kris is pulled into the Dark World through a dark fountain. Together with classmate Susie and the prince Ralsei, Kris sets out to seal the fountains and stop the darkness from swallowing the world of monsters. Each chapter opens a new Dark World — a card kingdom, a cyber world, a TV studio, and the Flower Kingdom — each with its own ruler standing in the party’s way.
Main characters
- Kris — the silent human protagonist from Hometown, who lives with Toriel.
- Susie — a tough, chaotic classmate whose heart slowly reveals itself.
- Ralsei — the fluffy prince of darkness who guides the party and knows more than he lets on.
- Lancer — the King’s son in Chapter 1, who becomes an unlikely friend.
- Noelle & Berdly — Kris’s classmates from Hometown, both central to Chapter 2’s story.
- Queen — Chapter 2’s ruler of the Cyber World.

Chapters 3, 4 and 5 add their own cast — including Tenna in Chapter 3’s TV world and the mysterious figure known as Flowery in Chapter 5 — as the prophecy of the Delta Rune comes into focus.
Light World & Dark World
